Excellent resource for incoming captain. **Position: CAPTAIN - US FLAG (will Rotate with the current Captain).** **5+ years as a captain / engineer - IDEALLY from 100'+** **Yacht:** 21m / 70' - Motor Private - **newer** **Start: SOON** **Itinerary:** **MA/RI/NY and Maine,** S. Florida, Bahamas - Fall/Winter **License Required:** USCG or YM200gt + (good knowledge of engineering) 5+ years as Captain ideally **Requirements:** **NO INCIDENT Report -** Strong knowledge of New England, Maine, Florida, Bahamas STCW + Refresher USCG Medical or ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months) US Passport valid minimum 1 year High standards are expected Solid mechanical skills, exterior maintenance (washdowns, spotless drying) Flexible and adaptable, can change plans quickly Someone with a reserved personality. Private. Meticulous. Exacting. Highly responsible, good communicator, humble. Ideally a captain that is health conscious, active, and sporty. **JOB DESCRIPTION**: Maintain a quiet, professional and private environment, respecting the owner's space and privacy. No charters, events or guests beyond close circles. The owner enjoys knowing the systems onboard and takes an active interest. Someone who can "go with the flow". Owner is an early riser, prefers long trips as weather permits and does not require much service. This is a live-off role. The captain will be provided with accommodations ashore and will eat meals out when traveling. **Duties:** Will include but not limited to management, operations, maintenance, washing, waxing, oil changes, trip planning, provisioning, etc. and oversight of all aspects of the boat. Working closely with a highly supportive, dedicated team who handles scheduling, administration, invoicing, parts, hiring and project management. **Salary range:** Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience.
