Chief Officer - Europe
Burgess recruitment is seeking a Chief Officer for a 70m motor yacht.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Chief Officer to join a busy private & charter yacht.
Requirements
• MCA Chief Mate 3000 essential
• Previous experience on 60m+ motor yachts
• Confident in passage planning, bridge watchkeeping, and port operations
• Proven high deck and exterior standards
• Strong tender driver with proven guest interaction experience
• Confident with water sports and sea toys
• Comfortable being guest-facing
• Positive, proactive attitude with good crew leadership
• Schengen Visa required
Start date: 4 October
Location: Europe
Salary: EUR 6500 - 7000 DOE
Leave: 90 days
Program & Itinerary: Private – Owners use until end of October with infrequent cruising in November/December. Tentative shipyard period in France for Jan – March followed by Med summer.
