**Position: TEMP CHEF (3 WEEKS) - US FLAG** **JOB ID:** 11049344 **Yacht**: 42' Balance Catamaran **Itinerary:** Hamptons Virginia to Antigua **Start date:** October 26th - for about 3 weeks **Location:** Virginia, USA **Requirements**: Cook/chef for the trip to handle food planning, provisioning and meal prep on the voyage which is expected to be around 10 days at sea. Ideally culinary trained or strong restaurant background/cooking courses. STCW + Refresher Marine Medical (fit for duty) from IMO/STCW country or ENG1 Food safety/hygiene Ship's cook ideally **US Passport/Green Card** **Preferences**: Non-Smoking Confident - strong communicator Clean and organized Positive nice attitude, team player, enjoys being active and healthy Works efficiently on own and as a team **Job specifics:** We are planning to do the Salty Dog rally departing Nov 1st from Hamptons Virginia bound for Antigua. The cook/chef will handle food planning, provisioning and meal prep on the voyage which is expect to be around 10 days at sea. The start date would be around Oct. 26th (to give a week to handle provisioning) with a return date around Nov 13th. We will be a crew of 3 experienced (not professional) sailors. We are friendly and easy going - hoping to find the same in a cook/chef to join us. Cook/chef would have their own cabin which shares a port side bathroom with the port forward guest cabin. **Salary range**: Industry Standard Compensation Package. Daily rate.
