**Position: 2nd Officer with DP experience** **In the cover letter please confirm location, availability and license and desired salary.** **JOB ID:** 11049201 **Yacht:** 85m Research vessel **Start date**: mid October 2026 **Itinerary:** Worldwide travel **Licence:** II/1- commercial **Requirements:** Certifications required: - OICNW II/1 - GMDSS - ECDIC Generic training, specific will be done onboard. - STCW basics - Medical Cert - Proficiency in Medical First Aid VI/4-1 - PSCRB VI/2 - Advanced Fire Fighting VI/3 - SSO - ***Dynamic Positioning Operating Certificate*** - Covid vaccinated + Booster B1B2 is a plus Yellow fever is a plus **Rotational schedule:** 12 weeks on: 6 weeks off Additional info: - Experience in commercial shipping is a bonus. - Candidate needs to have strong background and understanding in commercial vessels, MLC and full ISM. - Candidate will be expected to assist with various safety aspects of the vessel as well as safety paperwork, essentially it is like a Chief Officer role. - They will be working with a great crew and very interesting itinerary. - Working very closely with the Chief Officer, Captain and Management company. - DP experience required **Salary range:** Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience **Package**: Medical coverage while on board, flights to and from the vessel. **Commercial Registered Yacht:** YES
