Sole Engineer

- **Position:** Chief Engineer - **Start Date:** October - **Contract:** Permanent - **Salary:** €6,000 per month - **Rotation:** 2 months on / 2 months off - **Itinerary:** Winter in the UK / Caribbean Season 2027 **Required Qualifications:** - MCA Y4/Y3 CoC or STCW III/1 Engineer Officer of the Watch Unlimited - STCW Basic & Advanced Training - High Voltage training - Medical First Aid - Valid ENG1 - Valid Schengen Visa (for non-EU crew members) - Valid B1/B2 Visa **What We're Looking For:** - Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar engineering role - Previous experience on a similar-sized sailing yacht - Strong sailing background (essential) - Proactive team player, willing to assist wherever needed - Experience managing vessel accounts - Confident overseeing planned maintenance and repairs - Proven shipyard experience (essential) - Experience using **SeaHub** (maintenance planning and inventory management) and **Pinpoint** (shipyard project management) would be highly advantageous - Male candidate due to cabin arrangements **Vessel Information:** The yacht features a hybrid propulsion system, with two Volvo generators powering a single electric motor. Previous experience working with hybrid or advanced propulsion systems would be highly advantageous.
