Purser - Worldwide
Burgess recruitment is seeking a Purser for an 80m+ yacht.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Purser to join a dynamic crew on a busy private and charter yacht.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
• Must have at least 3 years+ experience as Purser on large yachts
• ENG1, STCW and any other valid certifications in hand
• Relevant Purser qualifications and experience
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in a dynamic environment
• Confident in overseeing all administrative functions on board, managing budgets, accounts and inventory systems
• Able to manage guest itineraries, customs and port clearances
• Collaborate closely with department heads to maintain operational efficiency
• Active and adventure-minded candidates will be a great fit. The owners regularly participate in diving, kiteboarding, surfing, and cycling, and often involve the crew in these activities.
• Schengen and B1/B2 visas required
Start date: 25 October
Location: Europe
Salary: DOE
Leave: 2:2
Female candidates due to cabin arrangements
Vessel Program and itinerary: Primarily private with few charters. Future itinerary TBC. Currently cruising Med, Caribbean and US. Owners enjoy water sports, are active and keen to explore new places.
