Captain

**Position: CAPTAIN/ENGINEER SAILOR** **Catamaran Sailing experience / racing a plus / Gunboat** **In cover letter please mention your location, availability and salary expectations, thank you!** **Yacht:** 60' Sailing and Power Catamaran Yacht- strictly Private **JOB:** 11048817 **Location**: US **Start date**: ASAP - **Itinerary:** In yard - East Coast US for maintenance, winter in Caribbean, after that TBD **Licence:** Master 200gt+ - Previous catamaran sailing experience / racing experience Solid Captain and engineering experience. **Requirements:** STCW95 + Refresher and ENG1/or USCG Medical - FIT FOR DUTY. B1B2 or US passport **Experienced hands-on Captain and Engineer.** **-2 years experience on a similar-sized catamaran is required** **Responsibilities: Captain and ENGINEERING** \- sailing operations, passage planning, docking, and yacht maintenance \- Help with guest activities and excursions \- Safety \- Be a collaborative, upbeat team member and motivator **Other:** \- Experience on boats and a love for sailing \- A strong work ethic, team spirit and positive attitude \- Someone who is willing to adapt, learn and take pride in your work **Job Specifics:** - Runs with 1 FT crew (Captain)- stew and chef hired as needed (when owner is onboard) - Owner likes to take a mix of sports-related and social cruises, with both friends and family. - **Owner is on the vessel roughly 30% of the time in season.** **Other notes:** -**Prior gunboat experience preferred** -Captain will be responsible for managing maintenance, expenses, cruise planning, and hiring contract staff as needed **Salary range:** USD - Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience - to be discussed doe. **Package**: To be discussed during interview process.
