The primary focus of this role will be heavy exterior maintenance, specifically **the deep restoration, sanding, seam repair, and caulking of the teak decks.** This is a hands-on, labor-intensive role requiring someone comfortable working in a shipyard environment. Execute extensive machine and hand sanding of teak decks to level surfaces and remove deep stains or weathering. Perform teak seam repairs, including routing out old caulking, prepping seams, applying primer, and re-caulking. Cut, fit, and replace damaged teak bungs (plugs) and assist with minor wood structural repairs or replacing worn planks. Apply brightwork, oils, or sealants according to the yacht's specific maintenance protocols. **Salary range:** Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience.
