About the role
**Position:** Chef/Stewardess
**Yacht**: 30m Sailing Yacht - Private/Charter
**Start Date:** June 2026
**Location:** Palma de Mallorca
**Itinerary:** Mediterranean Summer 2026 followed by Atlantic Crossing and Caribbean season
**Contract:** Permanent
TCN is currently seeking a versatile and hands-on Chef/Stewardess to join a 30m sailing yacht on a permanent basis.
The position will initially begin during the shipyard period and preparation works ahead of the summer season. During this stage, the successful candidate will mainly focus on crew cooking and supporting the vessel through the final stages of preparation. As the season progresses towards the first owner trips and charters later in the summer, the role will naturally transition into a more guest-focused Chef/Stewardess position.
The yacht is expected to begin sailing the Mediterranean by July 2026 before crossing the Atlantic for the Caribbean season.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and adaptable candidate who enjoys dual-role positions and thrives within a small, dynamic sailing yacht environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Preparing fresh, high-quality meals for crew, owners, and guests
• Assisting with interior duties including housekeeping, laundry, and service
• Supporting deck operations such as mooring, cleaning, and general maintenance
• Assisting during shipyard preparations and seasonal setup
• Working closely with a small and active crew team
**Candidate Profile**
• Passionate about sailing yachts and long-term programs
• Positive, adaptable, and hands-on attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience onboard 25m+ sailing yachts preferred
• Confident in both cooking and interior service
• Comfortable working in a dual-role environment
**Requirements**
• Valid STCW (BST) and ENG1/Medical
• Food Hygiene Level 2
• B1/B2 visa (essential)
• Seaman's Book (or willingness to obtain one)
• Previous dual-role experience preferred
**Package**
• Salary: EUR 4,500
• Leave: 44 days per year
