As a Photographer onboard Princess Cruises, you’ll be part of a vibrant team dedicated to capturing the magic of each voyage. From formal evenings to casual moments around the ship, you’ll attend events and interact with guests to create lasting memories through high-quality photography.   • You’ll be expected to consistently produce a high volume of well-composed and technically sound images that meet our brand standards. Whether working with natural light or studio setups, your ability to adapt and deliver exceptional results is key. Guest engagement is at the heart of this role — we want every photo session to be fun, relaxed, and memorable. • In addition to photography duties, you’ll support the PhotoStudio program by encouraging bookings and explaining the services offered. You’ll also assist in the photo gallery and shop, helping guests select and purchase their images while promoting additional products and services. Sales skills and product knowledge are essential, as is maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked retail space. • You’ll be responsible for the care and proper use of company-issued equipment, ensuring everything is maintained to the highest standards. Professional appearance is also important, wearing the correct uniform, name badge, and Cruise pin, along with excellent personal grooming, is expected at all times. • This role offers a unique opportunity to travel the world, meet people from diverse backgrounds, and grow your skills in photography, sales, and guest service — all while being part of an award-winning cruise experience.

• Professional Photography Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in event, portrait, or wedding photography, ideally in high‑volume or hospitality environments; cruise ship experience is a plus. • Technical Photography Skills: Proven ability to work confidently with professional‑grade DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lenses, and flash systems, producing consistently sharp, well‑exposed, and creatively composed images. • Studio & Location Lighting: Hands‑on experience setting up and using studio lighting, light modifiers, and light meters, as well as adapting to mixed and low‑light conditions in a variety of onboard venues. • Image Editing & Workflow: Proficient in digital imaging software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar, with the ability to manage large volumes of files, apply color correction, and prepare images for printing and digital delivery. • Portfolio: A strong, verifiable portfolio demonstrating a range of portrait, event, and candid photography. Online portfolios are preferred; printed portfolios may be requested for in‑person interviews. • Education: Formal education in photography or a related field is preferred (degree, diploma, or recognized certification), or equivalent professional experience. • Guest Service Focus: Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to approach guests confidently, build rapport quickly, and create a fun, relaxed atmosphere during photo sessions. • Sales & Product Knowledge: Comfortable promoting photo packages, studio sessions, and related products, with the ability to explain options clearly and support guests in choosing the right products. • Communication: Fluent (or near‑fluent) English with clear, confident verbal communication skills; additional languages are an advantage in our multicultural environment. • Teamwork & Professionalism: Proven ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural team, maintaining a positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism at all times. • Resilience & Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, shipboard environment with a busy schedule, changing itineraries, and evolving priorities while maintaining high standards. • Health, Safety & Compliance: Willingness to follow all shipboard safety, security, and public health procedures, including participation in mandatory trainings and drills.
