About the role
Position Overview:
As a Bartender, you are responsible for providing exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. You will craft beverages with precision, ensure the bar area is well-stocked and clean, and deliver outstanding customer service that enhances the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet guests courteously and promptly with a warm, welcoming attitude.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and company guidelines.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests regarding drink selections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately using the POS system.
• Monitor guests for signs of intoxication and handle situations professionally, including refusal of service when necessary.
• Restock bar inventory and requisition supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service throughout the venue.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and follow standard operating procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
• Proven bartending experience in a high-volume, customer-focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, cocktails, and beverage presentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
• High school diploma or equivalent; bartender certification preferred.
• Physically fit and able to work on your feet for long periods, including late shifts.
