Restaurant Utility

Your Purpose To assist the Waiter to provide professional, high-quality Dining Service to Guests in all food outlets. Your Impact To assist in the preparation, set-up and breakdown of all dining venues, including Guest Restaurants and the Host Restaurant, before and after each meal period, ensuring compliance with Company standards. To maintain the cleanliness, organization and sanitation of all dining areas, service stations, pantries, tables, chairs, fixtures and equipment in both Guest Restaurants and the Team Restaurant. To assist with the replenishment of cutlery, crockery, glassware, condiments, beverages and other operational supplies required for service in all assigned dining venues. To support restaurant operations during meal periods by assisting with food and beverage service, table maintenance and guest flow management in Guest Restaurants and the Team Restaurant. To clear, clean and reset tables promptly and efficiently in all assigned dining venues, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment at all times. To transport food, beverages and service equipment between the galley and dining venues in accordance with food safety and sanitation procedures. To ensure all service stations are fully stocked, organized and maintained throughout service periods in both Guest Restaurants and the Team Restaurant. To assist with the preparation and service of special events, functions and operational activities held in any assigned dining venue. To monitor the condition of furniture, equipment and service utensils within all restaurant areas and report any deficiencies to the Supervisor. To ensure all cleaning schedules, sanitation requirements and public health standards are consistently maintained in Guest Restaurants and the Team Restaurant. To actively support the delivery of a positive dining experience through professional, courteous and efficient service in all assigned restaurant venues. To assist in maintaining proper waste segregation, recycling procedures and environmental compliance throughout all restaurant operations. To participate in inventory counts and the organization of operational supplies, equipment and consumables assigned to restaurant operations. To perform any additional duties within Guest Restaurants, the Team Restaurant or other assigned dining venues as directed by the Maitre D'Hotel, Assistant Maitre D'Hotel or Restaurant Manager in support of operational requirements Your Journey So Far Minimum 12 months 5-star hotel or restaurant service (excluding Job Training), or at least one completed satisfactory contract in a similar position (including Buffet, Messroom or Room Service). High School graduation. Basic knowledge on food safety. Proven working knowledge of the operation of a high volume, high-class restaurant. Able to communicate easily with Guests of all ages and national backgrounds. Capable of replacing Waiter in times of need. Ability to work in harmony with colleague Assistant Waiters from many different backgrounds. Fluent in written and spoken English. Your Essentials Passport, visas, certificates as specified by the company and as required for exit from the port of origin and entry into the destination cruising area. Food Safety/HACCP required.
