Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise all group events and celebrations (including weddings), from initial concept and venue setup through to execution and post-event follow-up. • Act as the primary onboard contact for group leaders and wedding couples, meeting them on embarkation to review and confirm all event requirements and expectations. • Coordinate all group- and wedding-related requests with relevant onboard leaders (e.g. Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Entertainment, Photography) to ensure every department understands and delivers on its responsibilities. • Personally attend key functions and events, proactively engaging with guests to gather feedback, resolve issues, and ensure an impeccable end-to-end experience. • Lead and conduct charters, group, media, and trade partner site inspections and ship tours as requested by the corporate office, representing the Princess brand professionally at all times. • Proactively contact suite and VIP guests upon arrival to introduce concierge-style services, understand their preferences, and tailor experiences throughout the voyage. • Maintain regular contact with group leaders, wedding couples, suite, and VIP guests during the cruise, anticipating needs and taking swift action to address any concerns. • Oversee the suite guest experience and program, ensuring all suite and VIP guests receive the highest level of personalized, detail-oriented service. • Prepare and send timely, personalized welcome communications to group leaders, wedding couples, and VIP guests on embarkation, clearly outlining available support and key information. • Support the Guest Services team in a supervisory capacity, particularly on sailings with lower group/wedding volumes, providing guidance, coaching, and hands-on assistance at the front desk as needed. • Partner with Heads of Department to plan for upcoming large groups, arranging private events, priority registrations, and reservations where appropriate to enhance the guest journey. • Monitor group master accounts regularly, ensuring all charges are accurate, compliant with company guidelines, and clearly communicated to group leaders. • Collaborate with the Finance team and relevant departments to ensure timely, accurate charging and reconciliation of all contracted onboard services and end-of-cruise reporting. • Champion an inclusive, guest- and teammate-focused culture within Guest Services, role-modelling our Shared Purpose and Core Values in daily operations. • Promote and support change initiatives, helping the team understand, adopt, and embed new operational processes, systems, and service enhancements. • Mentor and develop Guest Services teammates through regular coaching, feedback, and on-the-job training, supporting performance, engagement, and career progression.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, hotel management, or a related field (preferred). • Events & Hospitality Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Events Manager in a hotel, resort, cruise, or similar high-volume hospitality environment, or at least 1 year in a comparable onboard role. • Guest-Facing Leadership: Proven experience in a guest-facing supervisory or leadership role, with the ability to lead by example and support a front-of-house team. • Group & Wedding Coordination: Demonstrated experience planning and executing group events, VIP programs, and/or weddings, including coordination across multiple departments. • Service Excellence Mindset: Deep commitment to delivering exceptional, personalized service, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and create memorable experiences. • Communication Skills: Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written; additional languages are an advantage. • Interpersonal Skills: Warm, approachable, and confident communicator with outstanding social skills and the ability to build strong relationships with guests, leaders, and teammates from diverse cultures. • Organizational & Time Management: Strong ability to manage multiple events, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. • Commercial & Financial Acumen: Comfort working with event budgets, group master accounts, and onboard revenue processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company guidelines. • Technology Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with hospitality or events management software and POS systems is preferred. • Resilience & Flexibility: Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, 24/7 shipboard environment, adapting quickly to last-minute changes. • Teamwork & Culture: Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative team culture aligned with our Shared Purpose and Core Values. • Coaching & Development: Genuine interest in mentoring and developing others through feedback, training, and day-to-day support. • Professionalism & Integrity: High level of personal presentation, discretion, and integrity, consistently role-modelling company standards and policies.
