• Assist the Bartender with the daily setup, operation, and closing of the assigned bar area, ensuring all equipment, glassware, and supplies are prepared to company standards. • Welcome guests warmly, take drink and snack orders accurately, and process all transactions promptly using the onboard POS system. • Prepare and serve a range of beverages in line with brand recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality with every order. • Support the delivery and follow-up of OceanNow and other digital orders, using the application tools to provide timely, personalized service. • Actively promote Princess Cruises beverage offerings and onboard initiatives in a professional, guest-focused manner. • Maintain bar cleanliness and organization at all times, including counters, back bar, equipment, and surrounding guest areas, in line with public health and safety standards. • Monitor stock levels of beverages, garnishes, glassware, and consumables; replenish as needed and report shortages or discrepancies to the Bar Supervisor or Bar Manager. • Follow all beverage accounting and cash-handling procedures, immediately reporting any irregularities to the Bar Supervisor or Bar Manager. • Participate in regular bar inventory counts and take ownership of stock control when assigned to the crew bar or other designated outlets. • Comply with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) policies and all Health, Environmental, Safety, and Security (HESS) requirements, promptly escalating any issues. • Support teammates across the bar and wider Beverage team during busy periods and special events, contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment.

• Previous experience (typically 1+ year) as a Bar Steward, Bar Waiter, or in a similar bar or beverage service role within the hotel, resort, or cruise industry. • Good working knowledge of international spirits, wines, beers, coffees, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, including basic preparation and serving techniques. • Familiarity with bar equipment, glassware, and standard bar hygiene and cleaning procedures. • Comfortable working with a point-of-sale (POS) system to enter orders and process transactions accurately. • Strong guest service skills with a warm, engaging, and professional manner, focused on creating memorable experiences. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail and service standards. • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and follow instructions from Bartenders and Bar Supervisors. • Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written; additional languages are an advantage in a multicultural guest environment. • High standards of personal presentation, hygiene, and professionalism, aligned with Princess Cruises brand expectations. • Awareness of, or willingness to learn, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) principles and public health, safety, and sanitation standards (e.g. USPH). • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable living and working in a shipboard environment as part of a diverse, multicultural team.
