Royal Caribbean Group’s Human Resources team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Analyst, Workforce Planner reporting to the Manager, Scheduling. This role will work onsite in Miami, Florida. Position Summary As a Workforce Scheduler, you will carry out workforce planning and logistics for Hotel Specialty . Follow operational guidelines and directives from Hotel Specialty and department leadership. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Schedules crew assignments and rotation planning for the Hotel Specialty department Provides information supporting an effective par level planning process and related procedures Design and implement optimized solutions for fleet needs pertaining to the Hotel Specialty cost center Ensures effective communication with Hotel Specialty operations, department leadership, fellow team members, and crew members in areas related to scheduling, succession planning, recruitment, and logistics as appropriate Complies with applicable rules and regulations including but not limited to SQM, flag state and port state legislation, collective bargaining agreements and company policies in all aspects relating to workforce planning Provides complete and accurate employee data in the Human Resources system for assigned departments and/or positions including performance data for succession planning Performs related duties as assigned. Performs other duties as required Qualifications: Previous experience in one or more of the following functions: workforce planning, analytics, scheduling, or logistics services Knowledge of automated human resources and workforce planning systems preferred Good working knowledge of Excel and reporting systems Determine the necessary sequence of activities and the efficient level of resources required to fulfill fleet needs Proven track-record for being able to apply optimization techniques in one or more domains such as inventory optimization, and crew planning Evaluate a problematic situation and create a resolution based on planning and reasoning. Use logic, judgment, and data to drive decisions Visualizes, articulates, and solves both complex and uncomplicated problems and concepts and make decisions that make sense based on all available information Quickly learn and apply knowledge, skills, and judgment by assessing and translating data into responsive and effective planning solutions Ability to communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing, to gather and relay information in a multinational environment consisting of department heads, managers, coworkers, and shipboard employees Knowledge of applicable immigration and visa requirements preferred ** The position is not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.
