• Oversee all onboard floral and plant operations, ensuring flowers and greenery are stored, handled, and displayed to the highest standards. • Design, create, and deliver premium floral arrangements for guest staterooms, suites, public areas, special events, and onboard promotions in line with brand guidelines. • Maintain all public area and suite plants, ensuring they are healthy, well-presented, and contribute to a fresh, welcoming onboard atmosphere. • Plan and prepare floral concepts for key holidays, celebrations, weddings, and themed events, collaborating with relevant onboard departments as needed. • Host or support live floral arrangement demonstrations, classes, or showcases for guests, representing the Princess brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. • Drive onboard revenue by actively promoting and selling bespoke floral arrangements and packages to guests, including upselling for special occasions. • Manage floral inventory end-to-end, including receiving, quality-checking, rotating stock, and maintaining accurate records of usage and wastage. • Prepare and place timely orders for flowers, plants, and supplies based on voyage itinerary, seasonal trends, and upcoming events, maintaining cost-effective stock levels. • Ensure the florist pantry, workstations, and storage areas are consistently clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene, safety, and public health standards. • Partner with Guest Services and Housekeeping to identify and respond to guest requests, special occasions, and service recovery opportunities using floral offerings. • Provide warm, attentive, and personalized service to guests, engaging in professional, courteous interactions that enhance their onboard experience. • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including HESS-MS, environmental, and public health regulations, and promptly report any issues or incidents.

• Formal training or at least 2 years of professional experience in floristry or horticulture, including hands-on floral design and plant care. • Previous experience as a florist in a cruise, hospitality, luxury retail, or event environment, with a strong focus on guest-facing service. • Proven ability to create a variety of floral arrangements (e.g., bouquets, centerpieces, decorative installations) to a consistently high standard. • Strong product knowledge of flowers and plants, including seasonality, conditioning, storage, and longevity. • Confident in managing inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, waste control, and basic cost awareness. • Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and aesthetic judgment, with the ability to work accurately under time pressure and changing priorities. • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively with a multicultural, cross-departmental team. • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a warm, engaging, and professional manner when interacting with guests and teammates. • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written; additional languages are an advantage. • Resilience and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sea days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in a fast-paced shipboard environment. • Understanding of basic public health, hygiene, and safety principles, with a commitment to following HESS-MS, environmental, and company policies. • Genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences and a desire to surprise and delight guests through creative floral solutions.
